Tips For Searching You can find a Search box in the upper left-hand corner of almost every one of our web pages. Type in one or more keywords (for example, “magnifier” or “blind cane”) or item numbers. Partial item numbers work as well, especially when searching for something we sell in a series, like the various sizes of blind canes. The more keywords you use, the more specific your search will be. If your search yields no response, try fewer keywords. Try different keywords or different spelling. Try singular versus plural words. Our search engine also accepts portions of words, so for example, if you type “lock” in addition to locks, your search may produce “clocks”. Be specific and type “lock safety” without the quotes, and your search will be more specific. If you know the item number, you may enter that directly also. For a more precise search, try our Advanced Search where you can search by keyword(s) or item number; “all words,” which searches all the words entered, or “any words,” which searches the words in combination and also, the words individually, giving you a broader result; minimum price/maximum price and search all or a specific category. Whether using our simple or advanced search, please avoid using Boolean search methods. (quotes, minus or plus signs, the words “and”, “or” and “not”) Our search engine does not accept this search technique and work solely on the words you enter. |
